Barrins & Associates was founded by Anne Barrins, CSW who has 30 years experience as a manager and leader in behavioral healthcare organizations.
Ms. Barrins was a JCAHO surveyor for 14 years until 2004. In that capacity, she surveyed a wide array of behavioral healthcare organizations throughout the United States. She also served as faculty for JCAHO educational programs. Ms. Barrins' operational experience in quality management has included positions within both the private and public sector including the New York State Office of Mental Health. She served as Director for Quality Management for Four Winds Psychiatric Hospital in New York as well as Director for Quality Management for Behavioral Health at Henry Ford Health System in Michigan.
Since 1999, Ms Barrins has led the consulting firm of Barrins & Associates which specializes in JCAHO readiness for the Behavioral Healthcare industry.
